As I embark on my journey of exploring the historical landmarks in India, I cannot help but get captivated by the journey through time and culture. Even though I traveled to the whole of India, and some places more than twice, I cannot stop thinking about how incredible India is.
Each time I visit the legendary Taj Mahal in Agra, I get awestruck by the eternal beauty and craftsmanship of the historical construction. And maybe due to the tale of undying love, it showered back in the Mughal dynasty.
But the thing about these famous historical places in India is that each place is so unique in nature and structure. We even traveled to the world’s Largest Mangrove forest which happens to be part of India, Sundarban.
As I experienced the history, architecture, and culture of India through tourism, I would like to share my escapades.

Drawn by the allure of cultural legacies and ancient tales of Mughal Samrat Shahjahan and his Beloved Begum Mumtaz. I can feel the love and divinity altogether, enchanting me with a celestial radiance by standing in front of the marble structure.
India Gate

The historical monument, India Gate is built in honor of the brave soldiers who died in World War I. Standing in front of the 42 meters structure brews patriotism in me. And I could not help but feel proud and safe as I go through the embarked names on the structure.
Victoria Memorial

In the heart of the old capital of India, Kolkata, the Victoria Memorial stands radiating its brilliant craftsmanship and picturesque surrounding. Built during the British Empire, the building is one of the most iconic places to visit in India. As I entered the premise, I could not stop falling in love with the white marble historical structure amidst garden greeneries.
Hawa Mahal

The five-storied building in Jaipur is still a mystery how such a tall building stands still without any foundation. The architectural detailing of old India fascinated me when the fully planned buildings cannot withstand mere earthquakes. As I enter the Mahal, I experience the amalgamation of Rajput culture in Islamic Mughal architecture.
Sundarban

I traveled to Sundarban, World’s Largest Mangrove Forest and the Biggest Delta in the world to escape from the city, crowd, and chaos. As I see the wild from my houseboat, I could not help but become stupified about my extravagant necessities which are not in reality. And spotting the roaring great Royal Bengal Tiger reminded me how tiny I am. You can read Create Memories of a Lifetime from Sundarban Houseboat for a detailed Sundarban experience.
Mysore Palace

The Mysore Palace history still beguiles me even when I visit the place frequently. Built-in the 14th century, the Mysore Palace is a mixture of Indo-Saracenic, European, and Dravidian architecture. The old photographs before the fire in 1897 are so beautiful that I regret not being able to visualize them personally. However, the current construction of the building has reformed most of the building and I will be coming back here sooner than I anticipated.
By heart, I am always traveling, but if you want to read more about travel destinations in India.
